About Me
Background
Growing up in a small country town, I developed a strong sense of community, curiosity, and independence. After moving to Brisbane, I began pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Cybersecurity at Griffith University. This combination reflects my goal to understand how financial systems operate and master the technology that protects them.
Experience & Skills
Alongside my studies, I work in retail management, overseeing a large team and store-level financial tasks. This role has honed my leadership and operational planning skills. Previously, I worked as a teacher, which developed my patience and ability to break down complex ideas—soft skills that allow me to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Values & Aspirations
I am driven by integrity, curiosity, and accountability. My long-term goal is to work in a tech-focused role where finance and security intersect, specifically within cybersecurity or risk analysis.
Current Focus
I am committed to continual learning. While my operational skills are strong, I am currently dedicating my free time to advancing my technical proficiency in Python coding and automation tools to ensure my technical execution matches my strategic understanding.
Beyond the Screen
Outside of work, I enjoy strategic gaming and competitive chess, which sparked my appreciation for forward planning and tactical thinking.

Featured Projects
Retail Cash Flow & Risk Dashboard
Developed a Python-based dashboard to automate the analysis of daily cash flow variance and identify high-risk financial deviations in a large retail environment. Ultilising Pandas and Matplotlib, the tool reduces manual reconciliation time and proactively highlights potential internal fraud or error risks, demonstrating application of FinTech skills in a real-world setting.
ASIO Virtual Experience (Intelligence & Risk)
Completed the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) Virtual Experience program. The training involved applying critical thinking and analysis to complex, ambiguous threat scenarios. This project enhanced my ability to synthesize disparate pieces of information, assess risk profiles, and formulate concise, actionable intelligence reports, directly relevant to the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) field.
